ACC Pain From Masturbating?
This week’s question came during a casual conversation with someone mentioning that they may have rubbed themselves raw down there. Friction like pulling, tugging, or rubbing can cause trauma to the skin. Certain conditions like menopause and skin atrophy can cause thin skin. External factors such as medications and inhalers can also play a part in the thickness of the skin.
Remember, lube is your friend. As we age, the skin naturally loses collagen and can be highly susceptible to trauma. It is essential to protect the skin “down there” to maintain the ability to play another day, lol. I want you to have as many options to enjoy sexual activity as possible.
